Join us for the residency showcase-performance of La technique des monstres with artists Joy Boissière and Daïna on Thursday, March 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Caserne 26.
La technique des monstres is a performance triptych in the process of research-creation, exploring the intersection of technical object repurposing, body transformation, and new forms of eroticism. The project is enriched by the interpretation and choreography of performance artist Daïna.
Daïna - Instagram Daïna is an artist from Montreal’s circus and burlesque scene. Over the past year, she has primarily focused on writing and bondage practices. Her favorite themes are intimacy, grief, and motherhood—explored from a situated perspective.
Joy Boissière - Instagram Joy is an artist working in performance, installation, and live arts. Her research-creation topics revolve around obscenity, movement, and the absurd.
