**MAPP_MTL invites you to participate in MINUTE_MAPP, which will be presented on September 25, 2025**, at the Van Horne Skatepark in Montreal as part of the 10th edition of the MAPP_MTL festival.

MINUTE_MAPP is an open platform for expression and exploration of new ideas in the form of 60-second projection mapping. The creation surface is the façade of the iconic Million Tapis et Tuiles (Million Carpets and Tiles) in front of the Van Horne Skatepark and the theme this year is CROISEMENTS.

A prestigious jury will offer a prize to their favorite MINUTE_MAPP. The event will also be broadcasted online, where the audience will be able to vote for the public award. 

MINUTE_MAPP began in Montreal in 2013 and features a diverse range of creators from different backgrounds, many of whom are experimenting with this form of creation for the first time.

La technique des monstres is a performance triptych in the process of research-creation, exploring the intersection of technical object repurposing, body transformation, and new forms of eroticism. The project is enriched by the interpretation and choreography of performance artist Daïna.

Composite is a quarterly networking event dedicated to digital creativity. It was created as an initiative by the Conseil des arts de Montréal and is coordinated by MAPP_MTL, in collaboration with key digital players in Montreal (MUTEK Montréal, Zù Montréal, La Piscine, NFB, Société des arts technologiques - SAT, HUB Montréal, XN Québec, SYNTHÈSE, Akousma...).

This event aims to create a recurring meeting space between the art community and the digital sector, encouraging the exchange and collaboration among creators, artist-run centers, organizations, businesses, and digital professionals.

Like a visual wrestling match, a dozen contestants will compete in three rounds, mixing images and videos live to music on Friday, April 25 from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Each performance will reveal a unique approach to VJing, blending technique, creativity, and improvisation. A festive and offbeat moment where the audience discovers this art while cheering on the competing artists.

Dive into the world of VJing with this workshop open to everyone—young and old, curious minds or complete beginners—on Saturday, April 26 from 10 AM to 3 PM!

Founded in 2015 by artist Thien Vu Dang, MAPP_MTL has transformed public spaces into a creative terrain of expression through projection mapping. Since its inception MAPP_MTL has established itself as Montreal's international projection mapping festival, with the primary mission of fostering the development of this practice while providing a showcase for local and international talent.
